and it can weigh as little as 51 lbs. With the addition of new brake bracket, truck arm mount, sway bar mount and fitting options you can order of complete housing ready to use. Now you no longer need to order a housing, add tabs, mounts and check it for straightness before you can use it. You can order the housing the way you want it, ready to use. Speedway Engineering manufactures the most accurate floater housings avalable. We guarantee plus or minus .003” on the toe and .03 of a degree in camber. | Speedway
Engineering has an innovative rear end housing that's ideally suited
to most short track applications. It's built for optimum performance,
reliability and economy.
We've taken the technology proven on Super Speedways in Goodys Dash Series competition and incorporated it into a special lightweight rear end setup that's ideal for cars up to 3,100 lbs. They come with .188" wall, 1020 DOM tubing and can be optionally fitted with lightweight, strong chrome moly tubes (.120" wall). Likewise, you can substitute lightweight hollow axles for the "solid" premium alloy steel axles. The MOD LITE FLOATER with optional features weighs about 76 lbs. and is 16 lbs. lighter than our popular Grand National Floaters. Through reducing unsprung weight you can enjoy significant performance improvements with quicker lap times. Go to the head of the pack with MOD LITE! |
